Philip Pogson

Philip holds an undergraduate degree in music and a research degree in adult non-academic intelligences along with post graduate diplomas in company directorship and corporate governance. Alongside his commercial consulting practice he has extensive experience in consulting in undergraduate medical and post graduate medical training, medical and rural research strategy, strategic planning in a health context, clinical governance and change management.

His clients include MTEC, PMC, IMET, HETI, CEC, Office of Health and Medical Research, the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW, Macquarie University Faculty of Science and Engineering, NeuRA, St Vincent’s & Mater Health Sydney, the Garvan Institute, the Woolcock Institute, the Kirby Institute, NSW Cancer Institute, the Faculty of Health at UTS, the Royal Australian College of Physicians, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology and Macquarie University Hospital. He has completed strategic plans for three University clinical schools in major teaching hospitals. Philip has also advised Veterinary Schools in Australia and the US and has consulted to the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC) that accredits veterinary schools and post graduate veterinary qualifications in Australia and New Zealand.
