The theme of the March forum was Medical Engagement - the important role of doctors in high performing organisations.
It included talks from:

  • Ms Elizabeth Koff, Secretary for the Ministry of Health, NSW, on the NSW Health Agenda to move from Volume to Value
  • Prof John Ovretveit, Director Research, Professor of Health Innovation and Evaluation, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, on methods to increase clinician engagement
  • Professor Erwin Loh, Chief Medical Officer, Monash Health on leading institutional entrepreneurship and management up

The theme of the August forum was Increasing Medical Engagement. This forum had speakers from across NSW provide their experience of successful Medical Engagement. The presentations were following by a workshop facilitated by Dr Sarah Dalton to develop a strategy to improve medical engagement in NSW.
