How to get to the CEC
The Clinical Excellence Commission is located located at:
Level 17, McKell Building
2-24 Rawson Place, Sydney NSW 2000
The McKell building is situated between George and Pitt Streets and is a short walk from Central Railway Station (see below for map).
The CEC is located in the city centre and recommends the following car park:
Wilson Parking: The Quay St Parking Station is located on at Paddy’s Markets off Quay St, Haymarket. The car park itself is 400m (5 mins walk) from the CEC office.
Catch a train to Central Station. On arrival, take the Eddy Ave exit, turn left onto Eddy Ave and walk 300m to Rawson Place.
Visitors can catch the L2 Sydney Light Rail to the Haymarket stop, located directly in front of the McKell Building.
Visitors to Sydney and the CEC requiring a taxi can book using the following numbers: 133 100 (Silver Service); 131 451 (Legion Cabs); 133 300 (Taxis Combined); 131 017 (Premier Cabs); 132 166 (St George Cabs); 131 581 (RSL Cabs). Most cabs can be booked online and several can now be booked via smartphone apps.
To/from Sydney Domestic Airport
Depart from Central Station (Platform 23) and alight at Domestic Airport Station. The train journey is ~10 min with a further 5 min walk to check-in at the terminal. Trains depart every 5 - 10 min during peak hour. In addition to the fare from Central Station, a $12.60 one-way sector extension must be purchased for this privately owned and operated train line.
